The Spectrum Show

There is some debate as to who came up with the original idea to develop The Spectrum Show! Suffice to say, it came about as a result of groups discussions held in early 2017 when we were considering what people wanted to work on next. The Spectrum Show was piloted in April 2017, and repeated in January 2018. Thanks to the kind support of Stoke-on-Trent’s Community Investment Fund, we are pleased to say we will be doing more of these shows in the coming year.

Conceived as a magazine style TV show, The Spectrum Show is a mix of live and pre-recorded elements which are streamed live on Facebook. The format normally includes cookery demonstrations, interviews with guests, and short films highlighting interests and issues of relevance to group members. Group members take part in all aspects of producing the shows including film making, presenting, cooking and video production.
